Reporting to: Accounting & Taxation Manager

This position is responsible for the company’s tax compliance, tax planning, accounting for income taxes and preparation of tax returns. A Tax Manager should be abreast of emerging tax laws as well as optimum tax planning and saving provisions. For a Tax Manager the aim of the role is to comply with all necessary tax legislation to ensure that the company operates tax efficiently and tax risks are identified and managed appropriately.

Job Responsibilities:

 Manage team with 2 direct report
 Contract review for tax issues, including intercompany agreements, T&C and commercial, review tax part of each contract to minimise any tax risk, clarify with client and project team for tax related issue if necessary.
 Tax cost estimation for commercial proposal, review the tax part of commercial proposal, provide advice on proposal structure and help on calculation of both PRC and foreign tax costs.
 Monitor and review regular tax compliance, including monthly IIT, VAT filing, R&D, quarterly CIT filing and annual CIT filing.
 Monitor and review outbound remittance tax clearance, assess the tax status for each payment, register and do tax filing for each payment.
 Coordinate with accounting auditor for annual tax adjustment for each entities, assess and complete tax adjustment for annual CIT filing, coordinate with auditor to finalize tax audit report.
 Prepare and review Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation, assess the company’s TP risk, prepare and complete the RPT forms, coordinate with agent to complete TP report.
 Tax review/audit for risk and cost saving opportunity, review the tax status of local employees and expatriates, provide advice on tax efficient arrangement for employees, review to check out any tax risk of the company, review to find any tax saving opportunity.
 Provide supporting and reports to WP regional tax manager as per request, including tax compliance and tax risk reporting per half a year, annual (Australia) CFC review, Tax Schedule per half a year and other ad hoc request.
 Manage relationships with tax authorities and any other applicable governing bodies; resolve queries from tax authorities 
 Update management with changes in tax law, regulation and practice and assess implications on the business.
 Involvement in tax related projects and initiative as required 

Competencies/Other Requirements
Job Specific Knowledge needed:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
 Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive corporate tax experience required, Big 4 experience preferred
 Strong accounting and analytical skills with an eye for detail, analytical, proactive, good team player with effective inter-personal skills.
 Experience in advising on overseas projects with foreign tax knowledge
 Able to confidently engage with internal customers and key stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of reporting and information requirements.
 Good written and verbal communication skills

Education: Bachelor degree or plus in Legal, familiar with civil and commercial law;
Over 5 years’ experience in the same role
Experience in Construction Industry and familiar with project execution are preferred.

Position reports to: Project Controls / Services Manager

Primary objective
- Provide Document Control services to projects. Coordinate a team of Document Controllers, with a range of skills and capability to deliver project targets. Manage the development of junior staff. 
- Responsible for supervision & management of the Document Control team.

Specific accountabilities
 Project Set-Up – Ensure Document Control systems & processes meet project requirements
 Document Control services - coordinate document control resources
 Provide reports internally within Project Team and externally to Client
 Interface Management - facilitating communication with Project Managers, Project Controllers, Engineers, Procurement & Construction personnel
 Responsible for Document Control reporting internally within Project Team and externally to Client
 Expediting internally with Engineering & externally with Client
 Quality Control (ensuring project documentation is controlled, monitored, and recorded according to Project Services standards / specifications; conduct timely Document Control audits on project level and Implement continuous improvement activities)
 Trouble-shooting (Liaise with field / client and other parties in the resolution of document control issues)
 Records Management (Archiving, Record Retention – hard copy & softcopy )
 Drawing / Document Numbering Management 
 Transfer skills, knowledge and abilities to all the other Document Control staff.
 Provide management level support for development of the Document Control team and its members.
 Quality Assurance – Ensure Document Control is performed in line with WorleyParsons corporate guidelines & procedures

Essential skills/experience
 Minimum 5 yrs experience in Lead / Senior Document Control position in relevant company or industry
 Expert in the basic Document Control skills. (Maintaining master project deliverables / document register, issuing technical documents via transmittal, receiving project documents and managing distribution, tracking receipt of documents internally & from clients / third parties, expediting return)
 Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) eg. Encompass, Bluebeam etc., used to electronically manage the revision and issuance of master facility documentation.
 Good English communication skill with different location (SHA, Europe office) and interface management 
 Strong people management skills. Able to lead a team and develop the skills of Junior staff.
